Telehealth assessments help to decrease waiting time for an accurate diagnosis. ​Early diagnosis leads to earlier treatment interventions which help improve developmental skills. Spectrum Insights sees children with developmental delay as young as 12 months and monitors for any ongoing concerns.

Studies show the average age for an autism diagnosis is around 5 years old, however it can be diagnosed at a younger age. For children who may mask symptoms, the diagnosis may be much later as symptoms may be overlooked. There are many symptoms of autism that may be overlooked or may resemble other conditions. Some conditions often co-exist with autism. A thorough evaluation can help to rule in or rule out a diagnosis.
